| Fruit Salad |
| Serves: 1 Preparation time: 5 mins A filling and tasty variation on your normal fruit salad. Gather together a few of your favourite fruits, such as banana, apples, mango, pineapple or some of the may types of berry you can buy. Chop into into bite size pieces and toss with some fresh coconut or mint and top with fresh yoghurt. In a hurry in the mornings? Then make the salad the night before and store in the fridge. If you use apples however, make sure you coat with orange or lemon juice, to prevent browning. |
| Blueberry and Banana smoothie |
| Serves: 1 Preparation time: 10 mins 1 cup (125 ml) soy milk or low-fat milk 1/2 cup (80 g) fresh or frozen blueberries 1 small banana ice (optional) Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Serve immediately. For extra protein add 2 tablespoons of vanilla or neutral protein powder (chose one low in fat and sugar) |
